Making A Purchase

New Accounts

Should you wish to open a Trade Account you will be required to complete an Account Application form and supply two Trade References. An Independant Credit Check will also be undertaken. Commencement of trading will require an initial order of £250 excluding VAT and payment by Pro-Forma.

Product Description, Images and Stock Availability

Whilst we generally maintain high levels of stock we are unable to cater for unprecedented demand in certain instances, and therefore cannot guarantee stock availability of our product range 100% of the time.

We recommend maintaining and selling from your existing stock to ensure customer satisfaction.

Occasionally manufacturers will update their products, and we reserve the right to supply these, even if pictures and/or descriptions may vary from the listing shown.

Pictures are for illustration purposes only and products may occasionally vary, in size, shape or colour. Whilst we endeavour to ensure all images and specifications are correct at the time of publication, they do vary. As such we can accept no responsibility for incorrect images/information. If however you spot a mistake with any image or product specifications please let us know so that we can rectify accordingly.

Items are sometimes sold that are not available at the specific time of sale. The estimated delivery time will be shown but due to circumstances beyond our control we may not be able to despatch at the estimated time. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated timescales.

Whilst we do our best to ensure that stocks of products are available there may be occasions where broken or damaged stock prevents us from fulfilling an order. In such instances you will be given the choice to wait for stock to arrive or be given a full refund.

We will reply within 3 working days from when we receive your complaint. If it is not possible to give you a full reply within this time - for instance, because a detailed investigation is required - we will give you an interim response, telling you what is being done to deal with your complaint, when you can expect the full reply and from whom. That full reply will include details of who to contact next if you believe your complaint has not been dealt with properly. This Complaints Procedure does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Shipping And Handling

In all instances the delivery point is to a designated Trade/Retail address only.

All orders for UK Mainland are consolidated at the point of despatch and a delivery surcharge of £10.00 excluding VAT will be applied to the delivery for all orders under £200 excluding VAT.

Our product range features a small number of items that require special handling; these items are defined as such within our product specification pages. We reserve the right to levy an additional charge for delivery of these items.

Delivery terms outside of UK Mainland will differ, please contact our sales office for clarification prior to ordering.

Courier Deliveries

It is the customer's responsibility to supply us with the correct Shipping information. We shall be under no liability for any costs if the wrong delivery information has been supplied. All items delivered require a signature. If a signature is obtained from any person other than the named customer at the specified delivery address, the named customer is still responsible for the item and any charges associated with it.

When you receive your item/s from the courier it is VERY IMPORTANT to ensure that the packaging of your goods is checked, and in good condition BEFORE signing the delivery note. If the couriers attempt to deliver a parcel with damaged packaging PLEASE REFUSE it and instruct the driver to return it back to us. The parcel must be opened and any damage reported to us by phone within 24hours (working day). This is to comply with our Couriers Insurance Policy. No Claim for damage can be processed if the delivery note is not signed 'damaged' or if we were not notified within 24 hours of the damage from receipt of the delivery. Please report any issues immediately by phoning us. This does not affect you statutory rights on the supply of goods (see Returns, Cancellations & Substitutions for more information).

If you have not received your item within 3 working days of dispatch of your order please contact us in order to track your delivery. If the courier has attempted to deliver your item and has left a card you must contact the couriers direct within 7 days of the card being left. If we have had an item returned back to us due to non communication on your part, you will be responsible for additional shipping costs.

The point of delivery is the nearest point of your property boundary that can be reached by the driver. The driver cannot be expected to carry the parcel within your property i.e. to your front door or any other location. In certain circumstances when access to you property by the delivery vehicle is restricted then the point of delivery will be the closest that the driver can reach with his vehicle.

We aim to despatch items promptly (except where descriptions state a delay). Requests for a delay to dispatching an item cannot be guaranteed to be actioned and any liability for a returned delivery due to no one present at the delivery address at the time of delivery will be with the buyer.

We cannot be held responsible for non delivery of items if the delivery address given is not correct or incomplete (i.e. no house name or number/street details etc). If this is incorrect or incomplete the item may be returned to our distribution warehouse by the courier. If this occurs then you will be liable for the costs of the item to be returned to us and then re-dispatched back to you. i.e. 2 times the original delivery charge.

All items will be dispatched to the Trade Account address supplied.You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

All costs must be accepted before any item is re-dispatched.

Refusing a Delivery

a. Refusal of an unwanted item will make you liable for a charge equal to the original delivery for the item to be returned to us and a further charge for the item to be redelivered i.e. a refusal of a delivery for any reason will mean you are liable for an extra cost of twice the original delivery charge.

b. The correct procedure is to accept the delivery, if damaged sign delivery note as such and contact us within 24 hours. We can advise you of the course of action for a replacement.

c. If you have received a faulty (for damaged on arrival please refer to section 2d) or incorrect item, you must notify us a within reasonable time of receipt, which we consider is 3 days, we will then arrange to collect and replace the item within the usual timescales as indicated in the terms of delivery. You will not be responsible for the shipping costs of goods supplied by us where a breach in the Sale of Goods Act has been made.

d. If you change your mind after ordering a fixed priced item you have a right to cancel your order within seven days and receive a full refund for the product. This seven day period will begin on the day you receive the item. In order to return the item/s, you must take reasonable care of the item/s and it must be returned in re-sellable condition. In this instance, you will be responsible for the shipping costs both to and from your address. To return your item you must advise us by speaking to customer service. You will be responsible for the item until it arrives back with us in an undamaged condition. If the item is returned damaged in any way then we will not be able to offer a refund and it will be your responsibility to arrange the pickup of the item at you cost
e. Items won on an auction are non-refundable.

Miscellaneous

For International orders, Customs departments will randomly select packages, which they will open and check. Although this does not happen often, they will occasionally open interior packaging. We cannot accept responsibility for these occurrences as Customs procedures are outside our control.
Delivery Schedule

We operate deliveries to Trade Accounts on a weekly basis.

Please note that actual delivery dates may vary due to Bank Holidays or adverse weather conditions.

We are closed for business Weekends, Bank Holidays and Christmas shutdown periods.

Back Orders

Where a product is not available for immediate delivery it will be back ordered and delivered at the soonest available opportunity.

Your invoice/delivery note will confirm where an ordered item has not been delivered and is on back order.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union VAT is added at the current applicable rate. All orders outside of these areas are VAT free.
Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee

Description of Goods/Warranty and Liability

We warrant that the goods will, at the time of delivery, correspond to the description given by us. Except where the Customer is dealing as a consumer (as defined in the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, section 12) all other warranties, conditions or terms relating to fitness for purpose, merchantability or conditions of the goods whether implied by Statute, Common Law or otherwise are excluded and the Customer warrants that the Customer is satisfied as to the Suitability of the Goods for the Customer's purpose Goods are not sold on a trial basis.

Liability

Our maximum liability, for any reason, is limited to the cost of the item paid.

Manor Reproductions Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:

Returns Policy

Shortages and Damaged Goods

Shortages and Damaged Goods must be advised within three working days of delivery, otherwise no responsibility can be accepted. Damaged goods should be returned in their original packaging.

Where appropriate we will arrange for collection of the goods and replacements to be delivered. Any goods returned as faulty but found to be not faulty will incur a charge of 20% of their sale value applied to the account to cover costs re-stocking the items.

No products should be returned without prior agreement.

Non-faulty Items

We reserve the right to apply a 20% handling charge to products returned that are not defective, or back orders delivered but no longer required. All returned items can only be credited provided they are in pristine condition and in all the original, unmarked, packaging in “as new” condition. We reserve the right to reject returned goods that do not arrive in such a condition as to meet the criteria defined above.

Returns will only be accepted with an associated Returns Authorisation Number which can be obtained by contacting us on 01527 578484 or via email to info@firesideaccessories.com. A fee of 20% of the original invoice value may be retained by Manor Reproductions for goods being returned after 5 working days.

All returns have to be checked by us before replacements/ refunds can be issued.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled prior to despatch by contacting our Sales Office on 01527 578484. When cancelling an order you will be given a unique cancellation reference number. Should cancelled goods then be delivered in error the unique reference number confirms that a handling charge will not be applied. Orders cancelled after despatch will be treated as non-faulty items and a handling charge will apply.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Please note that we do not deal directly with memebers of the Public as we are strictly Trade only.

Trade Accounts

Our standard payment terms are strictly Nett Monthly for Credit Accounts or Pro-Forma for Cash Accounts, your prompt payment is appreciated.

Suspension of Trade Accounts

We reserve the right to place accounts on-stop and suspend orders on overdue accounts without notice. Additionally we reserve the right to charge interest on overdue money at 2.5% per month.
Where legal recovery of an overdue account is actioned we reserve the right to withdraw Credit facilities and revert to a ‘Cash Account’ basis.

Title of goods remains with Manor Reproductions until payment for the goods has been made in full.

Pricing

We make every endeavour to ensure that our pricing is accurate. However, in the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or is charged at an incorrect price due to an error on the website, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders based on the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of continuing with your order at the correct price or cancelling.

Due to the uncertainty with Raw Material prices, currency, shipping costs and fuel prices we reserve the right to amend our prices without prior notice.
